When working on a specific organizing goal, such as winning living wages, building strong organizations, or stopping an unfair international trade policy, it is easy to lose sight of the long-term goal of building a broad grassroots movement with the power to win and sustain the structural changes we wish to see in our communities across the globe. Organizing and networking with these long-term goals in minds not only maintains our inspiration to do our best day-to-day organizing work, but also helps us develop better organizing strategies that will contribute toward long-term gains.
