Gulf Coast Environmental, Racial, Social & Economic Justice & Solidarity Tour
November 2-5, 2005
On November 2-5, 2005, Highlander staff members Tufara Waller Muhammad and Susan Williams, along with Highlander Board member Hollis Watkins from Southern Echo, participated in the Gulf Coast Environmental, Racial, Social & Economic Justice & Solidarity Tour.
The tour was organized by a coalition of local and regional organizations in the Gulf Coast, including the Southwest Workers Union, Louisiana Environmental Action Network, Grassroots Global Justice Alliance, and Project South.
